Finally on the third attempt we made it to the top of the mountain. Those that have been following along here know that the mountain is Spirit Mountain. It is located 15 miles northwest of Laughlin, NV and Bullhead City, AZ.
To prove that this climb was successful, a picture of the top.
The post sits at the very top along with a notebook in a box to sign in as proof of your arrival.
Here are four short clips taken during the hike.
Total elevation gain from the trucks to the top of the mountain is 1800'. You do the math to figure out the average grade going up.
Yes, we already have another attempt in the works. We are going to try it from the southeast. Some say it is more difficult, though I don't know how it could be, but stay tuned....

Soon
Less than two weeks for the third attempt on the mountain.
If you have been following along here, you know that some of us have been attempting to climb Spirit Mountain in far southern Nevada. Each time the mountain has won the battle.
The day after Thanksgiving will be the next attempt, weather permitting. (Yes, believe it or not, it can snow up on that mountain in this desert area. Though we don't expect any this early.) Stay tuned for the next posting as we hopefully show pictures from the very top of the peak.

Hate Crimes
Don't get caught up in all this "hate is bad" stuff going around these days.
Amos 5
21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.
22 Though ye offer me burnt offerings and your meat offerings, I will not accept them: neither will I regard the peace offerings of your fat beasts.
23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.
Revelation 2
15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
Proverbs 8
13 The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.
Psalm 101
3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.
Psalm 119
128 Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
Be careful about condemning hatred.
Psalm 11
5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
