I realize that when I was in Arizona, I was unable to get any other preachers interested in the Independent Baptist Preachers Mountain Bike Race and Preacher's Meeting. (See numerous previous posts down through the years of 2005 through 2010) Maybe that was because of the perceived "too warm in the desert" thinking. Now with our location being in east central Minnesota, we have different riding conditions. Instead of heat, dirt, and sand, there is snow, cold, and ICE. So I am thinking about setting up a couple of courses for a race, depending on conditions. If there are good snow conditions, bring the fattest tires you own, if there are icy conditions bring the studded tires. Since it is winter, we will keep the mileage down. Of course after the race, some good fellowship and preaching.
